When you think about a local neighborhood market there are certain things that you wanted to have at a reasonable price and of course, you expect to be treated like a neighbor. Above any other tenderloin grocery store, Downtown Grocery hits the mark on all three of those points! About 2 months ago I just moved into the area and immediately they treated me like I had been living there for years. Whether it's $0.25 or $25 Downtown Grocery is the only neighborhood market that I even consider spending my money at.

The man that rings me up is quite friendly. Chill store and is a bit bigger than your regular corner store. He takes care of me and my buddies each time we come here to buy a drink and snack on our break time.
